MAKING HISTORY IN ITALY

The July 10 ceremonies in Italy include a blessing of the marble statue at noon (6 a.m. EST) and a blessing of the bronze statue at 6:30 p.m. (12:30 p.m. EST). The ceremonies can be viewed on the Facebook page of the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Statuary Project.

In honor of the 146th Anniversary of Mary McLeod Bethune's Birth, take a virtual tour of the Mary McLeod Bethune Council House in Washington, DC.

The Facebook group, the HBCU Alumni United, has chosen our alma mater and the alma mater of our beloved founder to highlight during the week of July 5th. This recognition also falls in line with the acknowledgement of Dr. Bethune's birthday. This is such an honor. The HBCU Alumni United Cares Campaign is designed to engage alums from ALL HBCUs to support ALL HBCUs.
