The Senate Judiciary Committee’s confirmation hearing for Judge Brett Kavanaugh begins on Tuesday September 4

at 9:30 am. It is expected to run for three to four days. WBAI will broadcast these hearings live and will provide opportunities for listeners to phone in to give their perspective and voice their concerns. WBAI hosts will provide contextual commentary as the hearings proceed.

Jean Stafford on Leonard Lopate at Large
How meaningful it was to me to hear a favorite writer whose book of short
stories I have cherished for many years. I believe my book of hers came out in 1970.
