Historically Underutilized Business Zone Program
Thinking of applying to the Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Program? This program is the least-utilized set-aside program in the US Government, so if your company qualifies, this can be a great opportunity to break into the Federal marketplace! HUBZone is a special program in the federal government just to bring money into high unemployment areas, both inner cities and rural counties. Three percent (3%) of the total federal budget is automatically earmarked for qualifying HUBZone businesses.

HUBZone firms must be:
  • Small
  • Primary office must be located within a HUBZone
  • 35% of the company’s employees must LIVE within a HUBZone

THAT’S IT!

To see if your office is located within a HUBZone, just enter your street address into our mapping system here.

If you have any questions contact your local SBA office here or email them via hubzone@sba.gov
