Greetings Work-Based Learning Division Members!

The past two months have been a busy and exciting time for the ACTE Work-Based Learning (WBL) Division! We hope you have been able to join us for the first two WBL webinars and the first WBL mentoring session. Check the WBL Division website for recordings of past webinars and links to register for future webinars.


As we look ahead, there are some great opportunities coming up for you to engage with the division:



The Call for Proposals is open for ACTE's 2025 WBL Conference. Submit your proposal by Oct. 14 and bookmark the conference website for the latest updates. 


Finally, don’t forget to register for ACTE's CareerTech VISION, happening Dec. 47 in San Antonio, Texas, where you’ll find a variety of sessions focused on WBL. Discounted advance rates available through Oct. 13! Register now and save!


The WBL Division Business Meeting will be held virtually on Nov. 19 at 2:00 p.m. ET. Register by Nov. 12 to allow time for membership verification.


Important: To vote in the upcoming ACTE Elections in December, you must be a member of ACTE by Nov. 6.

Student Video Challenge: What is Artemis?


ACTE and NASA HUNCH are excited to host the 2024–25 student video challenge. This year’s theme: “What is Artemis?” This annual video contest offers students the opportunity to showcase the application of CTE and project-based learning programs in high-demand career fields on Earth and in space. The contest is open to students of all ages, including elementary, middle school, high school and postsecondary students and any student who is homeschooled. Submit a two-minute video by April 1.
