January 2019
What an amazing start to 2019!

Welcome to the second edition of our bimonthly e-newsletter. We hope you enjoy this new way of keeping you informed. If you haven’t checked in with us lately, I think you’ll be surprised about all the wonderful things happening at the Foundation and how we are making a lasting impact in the lives of students and their families.

Read on to learn about The Sandwich Project, a project started by special education teacher Katie Domschot, along with her students, with a BEAR Grant from the Foundation. Every issue of our e-newsletter will feature a grant recipient highlight, a volunteer spotlight, and updates on The Closet and The Angel Fund with details on how we are helping families with everyday necessities, food, and housing security.

Thank you to our donors, community supporters, Board of Directors, staff, and especially our volunteers for their tireless efforts.

Best wishes,

Dawn Hank – WBLAEF Executive Director
