The Latest News at WBLRA
Campers! Don’t forget that your lots need to be cleared for the season by Monday, October 31st. Both WBLRA and Lincoln Twp require vacant lots be empty for the fall and winter months, so be sure to grab those chairs, grills, kennels, and other camping accessories and store them away in a safe place until next year. Thanks a bunch everyone!
C&R Changes: Did you know the C&R Committee and Board of Directors have been working on updating the C&Rs? This is a big undertaking, and nothing can be changed without your approval. Some areas being revised are:

  • Reformatting (some sections are being moved to a new or different section that makes more sense, but language used will remain the same)
  • Allowance for temporary structures to align with Lincoln Township
  • More clarity on enforcement of violations

The board and C&R committee are still in the working phase of this project, so we encourage you to attend the next board meeting on Saturday, November 12 at 10am to learn more about changes being considered and offer any feedback you might have during public comment. Your voice matters!
R2A Update: Lincoln Township’s Planning Commission tabled discussion on the removal of the R2A zoning ordinances earlier this month, but there is a possibility they may vote on this issue at the next Planning Commission meeting on November 15. WBLRA’s board of directors will be discussing R-2A at the next board meeting. Members are encouraged to attend and share their thoughts on this issue during public comment. If you’re not familiar with R2A and how it relates to WBLRA, click here for a quick rundown.
Speaking of Board Meetings... WBLRA not only wants to communicate more with you, but we'd love for you to communicate more with us! One way to do that is to attend our monthly board meetings, where you'll not only have a chance to hear everything the board is talking about, but also have an opportunity to make a public comment to the board too. If you're unable to attend a board meeting, you can participate via the GoToMeeting link, or you can email your public comment ahead of time here. The next board meeting is on Saturday, November 12 at 10am in the Club House. Click here to read the minutes from the last board meeting in October. If you'd like to be emailed the agenda each month before the board meeting to keep apprised of what we're talking about, please sign up here.
The new website is being designed as we speak! We can still use some high quality photos of the pool, club house (inside and out), mini golf, and campground to highlight the great amenities WB has to offer. If you have any pictures you are willing to share, please send them to: wblrapics@gmail.com
Looking for volunteers: We would love some help putting no trespassing signs around the perimeter of WBLRA. If you have an afternoon or two you can offer to do this, please let the office know at ecoffice@whitebirch.org.
The campground dumpsters are being removed on November 4th. The last day to put items in the dumpsters is November 3rd. Don't worry, the dumpsters will be back next season!
