Hello Roger

MIAMIANS LODGE SING FOR VETS

The Miamians Barbershop Chorus, Lodge #6, sang for veterans at Tamarac Veteran's Memorial Park in celebration of the day honoring US Veterans. The chorus has entertained the crowds for the last three years. Tamarac is a 70,000+ community just a short distance northwest of Ft. Lauderdale.

Thank you to all of the WBQA Veterans in our ranks who have faithfully served our great country!

MEET THE COMPETITORS - Meanwhile

“Meanwhile” is composed of experienced quartet singers: bass Bill Munn, a furniture salesman, baritone Dan Sauls, a retired banker, Chad Bennett, an administrator for BHS and Kenny Hatton, a loading dock equipment salesman.

The foursome hails from Nashville, TN, Evansville, IN and Decatur, AL, and they meet once a month. The quartet has sung together for four years, starting just before the COVID outbreak. Every other barbershop ensemble canceled rehearsals for a couple of years. But this quartet practiced regularly in Bill’s back yard, standing around the fire pit. That’s how they got their name.

"Meanwhile" enjoys presenting original arrangements in the traditional barbershop quartet style, exhibiting stylistic masculinity in a family- friendly manner. Their mission is to be the best quartet they can be, while maintaining strong bonds of friendship.
