| | This Sunday's Special Collection: White Bear Lake Area Food Shelf | | |
The special collection on Sunday is for the White Bear Lake Area Food Shelf which serves the Northeast metro area. Given the SNAP Federal funding holdback, the government shutdown, and increasing job layoffs, food shelves are serving greater numbers of people. Recovery from all this will be slow. Your generous contribution will help feed many families in our community. Our collection will be matched dollar for dollar to double the food assistance we give. Read more about White Bear Lake Area Food Shelf here
In addition to the collection basket on Sunday, you can donate in three other ways:
-
Online: http://bit.ly/give-to-wbuuc - indicate FOOD
-
Send a check to WBUUC with FOOD on the memo line.
-
Text to Give by text to 651-615-5551 the “amount FOOD" (ex, if you want to give $20, text: 20 FOOD)

| | The Great Give and Gather: THANK YOU! | | |
The Great Give and Gather on November 15 filled WBUUC with music, laughter, and delicious food. Our members and guests were incredibly generous, and we’ll soon know the total raised.
Donors of events or items/services to be delivered later will receive participant names for personal arrangements within a few days.
If you won an auction item, please be sure to stop by the church office to pick it up.
Unsold items and a few events are still available for bidding until November 20 (tomorrow) at auctria.events/WBUUC2025. After that, donors will be contacted about their unsold items.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this happen!
| | North Star Youth Outreach Center Winter Clothing Drive | | | | |
Nov. 23 - Dec. 21 | Social Hall
WBUUC has long been a strong supporter of the Center. In the past two years, there has been a dramatic increase in the number of youth needing help. Warm winter clothing is greatly needed - coats, hats, gloves and mittens, with a particular need for plus-size clothing. Leave donations in the cart in the Social Hall. Your generosity and continued support of the Center are deeply appreciated.

| | | | Hello from Rev. Jack, Cas, and the rest of the Belonging and Community Team! We wanted to update everyone that our amazing team of Outreach Project volunteers is continuing to make its way through calling the members and pledging friends of this community. If you haven’t already been contacted, please be on the lookout for a text in the coming days/weeks asking if you have availability for a quick phone call. We want to check in and see how everyone is doing, and make sure that folks know that this church is there for them! Sending light and love as the nights get longer and the days shorter. Peace and blessings. | |
Wellspring begins in January 2026 | | |
Are you interested in taking part in a year-long program that offers spiritual deepening and connection? Please consider participating in our Wellspring program, starting in January and running through December. This program offers multiple curricula, and we are hoping to run at least two different groups this year. This curriculum is especially good for people in transition who need a little grounding, people stepping down from leadership roles who want to nurture their inner life, parents who desire a sense of purpose in their parenting, and retirees who have newfound free time and want to dig deeper into legacy and purpose.
Rev. Jack is trying his best to get a sense of who is interested in participating in a Wellspring group and who might be interested to co-facilitate a group. Please fill out the following form to express your interest in this program: https://bit.ly/wellspring-2026
