This year marks the 8th yearly WCA Math Olympiad competition, which saw students from grades 4-8 participating. Over a period of five months, from November to March, students were challenged to think creatively and apply math concepts in unique ways through a series of five-question tests. At the end of the competition, scores were tallied to determine the winners for both the Elementary (4-5) and Middle School (6-8) levels.
We would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to James W., who scored 14 points and emerged as the winner of the Elementary competition, and Jackson W., who also scored 14 points and clinched the top spot in the Middle School competition. Notable mentions go to runners-up Parker T. in the Elementary competition and Bailey S. in the Middle School competition. We are incredibly proud of all participants for their dedication and impressive performance!
We would also like to express our gratitude to Kate Parker for her efforts and commitment to making this competition a success year after year. Thank you, Kate, for your invaluable contributions!

Fortunately, our partners at Children’s Hospital Colorado share expert information on key signs and symptoms of common conditions, how to help your child heal and more. Read more. >>
