Middle School Event 6-8 Grade
We are going to Italy this summer and you are invited!
Mrs. Marques, our 5th grade ELA & Writing teacher will be leading a tour to Italy this summer, and middle school students (rising 6th-exiting 8th graders) are invited. If you missed the information session, you can visit her STAFF WEBSITE and click on Italy Trip Information, or for more information email: Kristin.marques@worldcompassacademy.com
When students travel, they expand their knowledge of the world around them, discover more about themselves and grow more confident. These skills are critical for creating the global citizens of tomorrow, and she would love to have your student join on this adventure.
There are limited spots on this trip, and we would love to have you.

High School Options & News
WCA welcomes many of the local high schools to our school each year for information sessions. These sessions inform students and parents on different options the high schools in our area offer. These sessions are recorded and published along with the slide deck presentation from each high school. Here is the link to view them. Expand the link to see new high schools as they are added.

Board of Directors
The WCA Board of Directors is currently looking for two new members to fill open gaps. We are looking for parents or board members at large that have a background in policy & school compliance or children and public safety. These potential new members will fill roles on our compliance committee and safety committee. Those that are interested should fill out the board application located here: Board of Directors Application
Lunch and Recess
Consider volunteering during lunch and recess to assist with student supervision. Our students especially love when adults lead and play games during recess. You can sign up to help here.
Family Volunteering
World Compass Academy asks that each family volunteer 15 hours per school year. The volunteer requirement needs to be completed by the end of the school year. WCA will be using Track It Forward to log all volunteer hours completed this school year.
CONGRATULATIONS to the families who have completed their volunteer hours for the 2023-2024 School Year!!
