Principal Note

Dear WCA Community,

Summer is upon us.  We are working hard to prepare for the upcoming school year.  Based on your feedback on two parent surveys and our staff and student surveys, we been meeting to plan our focus and goals for the fall.  Our focus for next year will be on student belonging, engagement, and ownership.  I look forward to sharing details of how we will focus in on these topics to make World Compass Academy an even better place to grow and learn.  Have a wonderful summer!

What Can You Do to Help Your Child Over the Summer?
  • Schedule time each day (20-30 minutes) to work on foreign language, reading, math, and other passion interests.
  • There are many resources online for your child to engage in and most are free.
  • see summer resources below
  • Don’t “hope” that your child will do these on their own...supervise their efforts and reward them at the end of the week.
  • Get out and have fun with your children: museums, road trips, family game night, cooking, and read together!
