It's time to lace up your running shoes, bump, set, spike, and kick off the new school year with fall sports registration! WCA's middle school sports teams are gearing up for an exciting season, and we want you to be a part of it.

Coed Cross Country grades 3rd-8th (3rd-4th grade by tryout and coach approval only)

Girls Volleyball & Boys Soccer grades 5th-8th

Don't miss out on this opportunity to stay active, make new friends, and represent your school. Registration is open now, so sign up today and get ready to hit the ground running (or spiking, or kicking)! Please register in myschoolbucks, your student must have a sports physical to participate. WCA Alumni at Olympic Trials

Mila Nikanorov Making Waves

Congratulations to WCA alumni Mila Nikanorov on her incredible performance at USA Swimming Olympic Trials! Placing 9th in the 800 freestyle, 10th in the 1500 freestyle, and 16th in the 400 freestyle is an impressive accomplishment, when competing against the best swimmers in the country.

As she embarks on her next journey to The Ohio State University, we have no doubt that Mila will continue to excel both in and out of the pool. We are excited to see what the future holds for this talented WCA alumna, and we wish her all the best in her academic and athletic pursuits. Go Buckeyes!

Charter School News

Congratulations to Kate Parker on her expanded role within the Douglas County School District charter schools! In addition to her valuable work as a Gifted Facilitator at WCA, she has now been appointed as a Charter Lead in the gifted program for DCSD charter schools. We are thrilled that she will be sharing her expertise and passion for gifted education with the charter school community, and we have no doubt that her contributions will further enrich the educational experiences of gifted students.
