CMAS Testing Information &Tips

CMAS English Language Arts and Math testing for 3rd-8th grade students at WCA will be taking place March 29, 30, and 31. CMAS Science testing for 5th and 8th grade students will be taking place April 11th. For more information regarding testing and a detailed schedule visit the state mandated testing link.

Community Athletic Activities
Welcome to the Land sharks spring track program! All K-6th grade boys and girls are eligible to participate. Learn how to run and race and have fun! There are 3 track meets with races ranging in distance from the 50m dash to the mile.

World Compass Academy will begin practice on Tuesday, April 12th Students meet at Butterfield Park on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4-5pm

Registration fee is $65 from 2/10/22 through 4/11/22 then a $10/runner additional fee applies. Please remember to purchase a GREEN team t-shirt from the website ($16) if this is your first season running.
Financial Aid is available Feb 10- March 25 through every kid sports.

A competitive season for middle school-aged kids already playing ice hockey or interested in starting ice hockey before high school!

DIVISION C (entering 4 & 5 grade)
A fun league for kids already playing ice hockey or for kids interested in starting to skate, and playing at a fun yet competitive level in a local setting!

DIVISION D (entering 2 & 3 grade)
An introduction to the game of hockey without inline skating! Kids will learn the fundamentals of the sport before taking it to the next level.

PTO Spring Spectacular: How to Participate Now
WCA PTO is holding it's 2nd Spring Spectacular! This year we will again have a vendor fair, food trucks, and silent auction. This year we will also have a cultural fair put on by our own 5th grade and specials team! To make this event a success we need your help!

Vendor Fair
We are looking for vendors. This is a great way to promote your business. The cost for space is $20 or a donation to our silent auction.
Silent Auction
  1. Your room parent will be reaching out to help put a class basket together. Please support them by signing up to donate.
  2. If you, someone you know, or a business you go to would like to provide an item for the silent auction it would be appreciated. (gym, restaurant, stores, services, etc.)
Final day to sign-up to be a vendor is April 22. All proceeds from the silent auction benefit PTO

The PTO needs volunteers to help on committees for upcoming events. Some large roles and some small. Being involved with PTO is a wonderful way to learn more about the school and complete your required volunteer hours.
