Core Electric awarded Colton Peters $100 for winning the Electric Safety Poster Contest. He was also able to choose one of this teachers to receive $500 for the classroom. Colton selected Mrs. Berhanu (5th grade teacher). In the award ceremony, Mrs. Berhanu elected to donate the money to the Water for South Sudan Foundation. The 5th grade students read A Long Walk to Water, after reading this book, they wanted to raise money to support this cause. Mrs. Berhanu choice to donate the money is fulfilling that desire to reach out and support the world beyond our borders. You really can GO ANYWHERE, DO ANYTHING!! Congratulations to Colton!
