Dear World Compass Academy Families,
What an absolute joy it was to see so many of you at our Taste of World Compass! The evening was filled with the warmth of your presence, the vibrancy of our students' cultures, and of course, the incredible flavors from all the dishes you shared. Each bite was a special reminder of our school community, and it was a true highlight of my evening.
I loved having the chance to connect with so many of you, hearing stories about your families’ heritage, and learning alongside our students through their creative projects. The thoughtfulness and care that went into each one was inspiring!
To every family that came out to support this event, I’m deeply grateful. It’s moments like these that strengthen our bonds and remind us of the incredible community we’ve built together.
Warmly,
Bethany Merkling
Principal

In Mr. Scotten's 7th and 8th grade science class students took part in an engaging density lab demonstration. The activity provided an excellent opportunity for students to delve deeper into the concept of density, as they explored and analyzed the interactions between various materials. The lab not only reinforced classroom concepts but also encouraged critical thinking and scientific exploration.

7th and 8th graders teamed up with 4th graders for an exciting Geography and Landmark STEM project! In a collaborative learning experience, the older students guided their younger peers through the research process, helping them uncover fascinating facts about famous landmarks from around the world. 🌎🏛️
As a team, they used their newfound knowledge and creativity to construct models of these iconic structures. Not only did the students gain valuable research skills, but they also developed a deeper appreciation for the beauty and diversity of our global community.
It was inspiring to see these young minds working together, sharing their ideas and skills to create something remarkable. It's a testament to the power of collaboration and interdisciplinary learning in nurturing curious, well-rounded students!
