November School Board Elections and How They Impact DougCo Charter Schools
There is an important election on November 2nd that will decide on four new members of the Douglas County School District Board of Directors. This election will have a direct impact on our school. Our partners at the Colorado League of Charter Schools are hosting an hour-long on-line training to ensure that you know what it means to be a charter school, how the DCSD Board of Directors and their decisions affect us, and most importantly that you know the steps you need to take to be able to participate in the election. The same training will be offered on three more unique dates and times. We encourage you to register by clicking on the date and time that work best for you.

We have missed our volunteers so much! We are currently looking for volunteers to help out in our school library. Help is needed to help little ones find and check out books as well as shelving books as needed.

WCA awards students monthly who exemplify character traits throughout the month. Each month has a different trait. We want to encourage our students to be strong examples of great character in school and beyond. We celebrate these traits through our Cougar Awards. The essential character traits are what we want to instill in our students in order for them to grow-up to be the adults that will serve this world better!
