Register for "A Day with Your County Surveyor"
Register today for a free, day-long forum, "A Day with Your County Surveyor," on Monday, April 3rd at the Chula Vista Resort in the Wisconsin Dells. The forum is an effort to educate county board members/policy-decision makers and the community about the importance of an accurate, up-to-date, maintained network of Public Land Survey System (PLSS) corners.
This event includes a "field trip" guided by the Adams County Surveyor where attendees will take a half-mile scenic walk through the woods to locate an original PLSS corner that was set over a hundred years ago. Attendees will also learn about the complexities and importance of remonumenting PLSS corners and how this data is used to improve parcel map accuracy.
