THERE'S NO 'I' IN TEAM
This month we'd like to focus on teamwork, specifically, working on our team! If the COVID19 pandemic has proven one thing, it is how much stronger we are when we work together. I am proud of how our team has adjusted to the challenges created by the pandemic over these past twelve plus months and pulled together in a united (yet socially distanced) effort to support those in need. I invite you to consider joining our team in one of several key roles available across the spectrum of our programs.
WCAC presently has 118 employees, 90 full time and 28 part time. Our staff is diverse, experienced and committed to our mission to help people reach economic self-sufficiency. Our staff also has a lasting commitment to our work. In fact, during 2021, we will have 11 employees who will celebrate a remarkable 25 years or more of service at WCAC and 37 who will mark a decade or more! Our longest serving employee will celebrate an amazing 41 years of service in December!!
We also recently launched a staff-led Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion committee as one of several ways we are committed to advance equity for our employees and clients, to close access and opportunity gaps, and to dismantle inequities across the community to break the cycle of poverty.
If you're committed to making a difference right here in your community - check us out. Our team is growing, and we'd love to welcome you to be a part of it.
