It was quite a year for WCAC... we welcomed a new Executive Director, opened a new Head Start Center and impacted the lives of thousands living here in Central Massachusetts.
For 2020, the Worcester Free Tax Service Coalition will be celebrating its 18th year of providing free tax preparation and asset building services to low income working taxpayers throughout Central Massachusetts! In 2019, 29 volunteers donated 850 hours to prepare income tax returns at no cost for 910 low-income households at WCAC’s two sites - Worcester and Southbridge - generating $1.46 million in returns – among the more than $3.59 million generated through the Coalition! This was all possible because of our dedicated volunteers. Limited appointments now available for January using our new online scheduler. Additional appointments will be forthcoming after February 1st.

According to the calendar there's only three months until spring - but who's counting? Another New England winter is upon us and if you are like thousands of households here in Central Massachusetts struggling to keep your home warm, WCAC may be able to help.
The LIHEAP program provides financial assistance by paying fuel vendors directly for income-eligible households including individuals, families, single or multi-family homes, owners or renters.
For 2019-20 a family of four can be earning as much as $71,000 and still be eligible. Click on the video above or visit www.WCAC.net/Fuel-Assistance to learn more and to find out if you might be eligible for assistance.
As part of our Strategic Plan, WCAC recently hosted a Meet & Greet with new Executive Director Marybeth Campbell. Guests had the opportunity to meet with staff from and learn about each of the agency's programs and services, while

A portion of the proceeds of each Sweet Tats Imperial Stout poured from the Tap Rooms located at 72 Shrewsbury Street, Worcester, or at Patriot Place in Foxborough, throughout the month of January will benefit WCAC!
