STATE FAIR EVANGELISM THROUGH THE
MISSOURI MISSIONS OFFERING
The Missouri Baptist Convention (MBC) hosts a tent ministry at the Missouri State Fair each year, offering visitors a chance to share their faith, hear Christian stories, and win retail gift cards. The tent is a joint effort of MBC associations, churches, and the Missouri Missions Offering, with volunteers sharing the gospel.
Here's a more detailed look:
-
Location: The tent is located at the Missouri State Fair, which takes place in Sedalia, Missouri.
-
Purpose: The tent is a ministry opportunity to share the gospel with fair attendees.
-
Activities: Visitors who give three minutes of their time can hear a Christian story, share their own faith, and enter a drawing for retail gift cards.
-
Involvement: Missouri Baptists are encouraged to volunteer for the ministry by talking to their Director of Missions.
-
Impact: The tent has seen a significant number of people make decisions for Christ, with hundreds of conversions reported each year.

Our mission
Our mission is to equip local churches to mobilize lay ministry teams to help people hurting because of a major life crisis.
Our vision
*To see churches help hurting people heal through the use of GriefShare, DivorceCare, Single & Parenting, and DivorceCare for Kids.
*To see churches engage in effective outreach and grow numerically as they consistently offer GriefShare, DivorceCare, Single & Parenting, and DivorceCare for Kids to their communities.
*To see nonbelievers realize that apart from Christ, they will never experience complete healing from the pain of a major life crisis.
Find a Grief Share group in your area. The button below takes you to FBC Warrensburg, but there are others also.

We are a high-energy rock band with a passion for ministry and student outreach. Blending powerful rock anthems with pop influences, we create original music that inspires, uplifts, and speaks to real-life struggles. Our mission goes beyond the stage—we travel to public schools across the U.S., using music to spark conversations about self-worth, mental health, and perseverance. We often host community outreach concerts for these students, where we share the Gospel and connect them with local churches. Through music and ministry, we’re reaching the next generation with hope, truth, and the love of Christ.
