WCC Opposes Pharmacist Prescribing Contraception Bill
On February 9, the WCC testified in opposition to Senate Bill 30 (Felzkowski, Mary), which allows pharmacists to prescribe certain hormonal contraceptives, on the grounds that it could negatively affect women’s health, alter established medical standards, and impact the conscience rights of individual pharmacists. The bill passed out of committee by a vote of 4-1.

Governor Evers’ Budget Address Tomorrow
Governor Evers is scheduled to deliver his budget address tomorrow evening, Tuesday, February 16 at 7pm. The address will be telecast on WisconsinEye. Earlier this month, the Governor indicated that he would include the following in his budget:
