Music sessions with Ms.Julie (Carter) (pictured right) began last week much to the sheer delight of students and staff! Ms.Julie is a familiar face at WCC handling our music time for years. She brings high energy, talent and creative musical fun bi-weekly on Wednesday's for our Circle students and Thursday's for our Westbrook students.
Another "special" offering by WCC is JumpBunch. JumpBunch is a national program the uses movement to improve kids fitness, build confidence, and promote learning. JumpBunch classes focus on all phases of physical growth that include fine/gross motor skills, hand/eye coordination, body balance, agility, and muscle development. FUN. To children, exercise is play, and play is fun! WCC offers Jump Bunch to Circle students bi-weekly on Wednesday's and on Monday's for Westbrook students.
