WCJC is teaming up with the WCJC Foundation to collect items for students in need. During the "Giving Tuesday" initiative, donations will be made at all four campuses.
Overseeing everything from recruitment to admissions and registration, it's easy to see that Dr. David Byrd will have his hands full as WCJC's new Vice President of Access, Completion and Transfer.
As a Bay City native, being hired as WCJC's new Chief of Staff is like coming home for Dr. Mike Wilkinson. In fact, the first-generation college graduate is a former WCJC student himself.
The WCJC Senior Citizens Program will host a BBQ Fundraiser on Dec. 3 at the LaDieu Technology Center in Wharton. Plates are to-go only, and include a Hinze's BBQ chopped beef sandwich, chips, cookie and drink. Funds benefit the program.
CHOIR CHRISTMAS CONCERT
The WCJC Choir will partner with the Wharton Community Choir for the "Sounds of the Season" concert on Dec. 4. The performance will feature holiday tunes, traditional carols and audience sing-alongs.
