WCJC CLASS OF 2026

WCJC hosted its 80th annual graduation ceremonies earlier this month at the Gene Bahnsen Gymnasium on the Wharton campus. Four ceremonies were held.

MOLECULAR GENETICS EVENT


Seventeen WCJC students participated in a Molecular Genetics Workshop on May 16 at the Wharton campus. The event was sponsored by the American Society for Microbiology-Texas Medical Center Chapter and WCJC's Biology Department.

STUDENTS CONDUCT SUMMER RESEARCH


For the third year in a row, WCJC students will spend part of their summer conducting scientific research through Rice University's BioNetworks Research Experiences for Undergrads (REU) program. Pictured above is Maxwell Hartman of Eagle Lake.

VILLA ATTENDS

TEACHING INSTITUTE


WCJC Instructor of History Paul Villa will spend this summer in Gettysburg, Penn., as a member of the American Battlefield Trust Summer Teaching Institute. Villa earned a scholarship to attend this year's institute, which focuses on the Civil War and the War of 1812.
