GOLF TOURNAMENT
WCJC hosts 6th Annual Golf Classic

The Wharton County Junior College Foundation will host its 6 th Annual Golf Classic this fall for the benefit of student scholarships. Scheduled for Friday, Nov. 2 at the El Campo Country Club, the four-player scramble tournament will support the WCJC Foundation Scholarship Fund. The fund is operated by the WCJC Foundation, a not-for-profit corporation of volunteers that provides financial assistance for scholarships, programs and faculty development.

RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGY
Thirteen complete program
A ceremony was recently held for 13 students who graduated from the Wharton County Junior College Radiologic Technology program.
TREE DEDICATION
Memorial honors Ermis, Pinson
Long-time WCJC educators Dale Pinson and Fred Ermis Jr. were honored at a memorial tree dedication ceremony held recently at the Wharton campus.

LEGISLATIVE RECEPTION
Richmond event honors officials 
Wharton County Junior College will recognize elected legislative officials for their support of higher education at a special reception at the Richmond Campus on Oct. 11.

WOLTER RETIRES AFTER 16 YEARS  
Former Sugar Land and Richmond Campus Director Robert Wolter was recognized at a recent Board of Trustees meeting for his 16 years of service to the college. Wolter is retiring from WCJC to pursue new business opportunities.

SEE YOU AT THE POLE
Students, staff participate in event 
Young Life College, a Wharton County Junior College student group, joined the national "See You At The Pole" event by hosting a local observance at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26.
