4th International Cancer Research Conference a Success
|
On Saturday, November 17, 2018, WCRG hosted its 4th Biennial International Cancer Research Conference at Caesars Windsor. The conference was attended by over 160 scientists, clinicians, nurses, research associates, administrators and students who came together from Windsor-Essex, our neighbouring communities of London and Michigan and other Canadian research institutions to share their latest research findings.

First Mock Cancer Education Day for CURE Class
|
On December 18th, students in Dr. Lisa Porter's third year Cancer Undergrad Research Education (CURE) course hosted a mock Cancer Education Day. Each student showcased their final project to judges who represented different audiences from our community: health care professionals, youth, patients, administrators, researchers, educators and business people. WCRG Research Ambassador and Pro Am Tournament event chair, Jeff Casey is leading a group of dedicated individuals to host a hockey experience that will raise money for cancer research.
