WCRG Has Two Official Locations!
 
WCRG has had a presence at the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre (Room 2029) for over a year and thanks to the University of Windsor's Faculty of Science, we now have a second home in Essex Hall Room 148!
 
We have great things planned so stay tuned for our upcoming door decorating event and open house!

 

Getting to Know Our Local Cancer Researchers
WCRG continues to partner with snapd Windsor to highlight WCRG cancer researchers. Interviews are found in the print edition of snapd Windsor and shared through various newsletters and announcements. The goal of these "Snapd Shots" is to raise awareness about the cancer research conducted in Windsor-Essex and stimulate new research collaborations. Join Us at the Next Cancer Research Think Tank
On July 14th, WCRG held it's 6th Think Tank!
The objective of the Think Tank series is to bring people together and share research ideas in an effort to build collaborative projects and increase the number of cancer research grant submissions. Summaries of the past sessions can be found on  our website.

WCRG Volunteer, Youshaa El-Abed (University of Windsor, Faculty of Science, Biological Sciences) traveled to Bangkok, Thailand this summer to participate in the University Scholars Leadership Symposium. WCRG will definitely benefit from what he has learned!
