WCRG Takes Part in Career Exploration Day
On March 16, 2016 the Windsor Cancer Research Group hosted a cancer biology workshop for forty youth members of Windsor's refugee and immigrant community. Through the local YMCA, the students were taking part in a Career Exploration Day at the University of Windsor's Faculty of Science. Students participated in interactive activities viewing cancer tissue slides and learning about different types of cancer treatments and cancer research. Thank you to our dedicated volunteers for putting together the workshop and interacting with the students. Read more about the event.
