State System @ Center City Ribbon-Cutting

Yesterday was an exciting day here on the Philadelphia Campus; we held the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for our new State System @ Center City Academic and Classroom Suite. Our student speaker, MSW student, Maisaloon Dias, did a fantastic job representing our WCU in Philadelphia students! Thank you to her, as well as our Student Ambassadors who helped the event run smoothly!
Balance Day - May 3rd, beginning at 4pm

  • Chair Massages (4-8pm)
  • Therapy Dogs (4-6pm)
  • Stress Rams
  • Snacks
  • Raffle for WCU self-care swag (all week, beginning 4/30 - see Marcie or front desk staff)

Cradles to Crayons Donation Drive

Donations will be collected until the end of the semester for new and gently used children's items to be used in Cradles to Crayons KidPacks.

Job Posting - CARIE Advocate

CARIE, the Center for Advocacy for the Rights and Interests of the Elderly, is a non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, dedicated to improving the quality of life of older adults.

The advocate will be responsible for direct service, program development, education and outreach, public policy, and data collection and analysis. This position is particularly focused on CARIE’s advocacy around Pennsylvania’s shift from a fee for service to a managed care model for long term services and supports referred to as Community HealthChoices (CHC). Bilingual, bicultural background helpful. Reports to the CARIE LINE Supervisor.
