Anne Heritage has been a vegan since the 1970's. She fed her three dogs homemade vegan organic food only. One lived to 19 yrs, Floyd lived to 20 yrs, and Bramble lived to 25 yrs old. Anne is the author of Bramble; The dog who wanted to live forever. The Somerset notes. Part Two of her interview airs Tues, Sept 5th. Correction: In last week's Lobe, it was written that Bramble held the Guinness World Record for the oldest living dog at the time. A major media outlet suggested to Anne to enter Bramble into Guinness World Record; however, she chose not to do so. (Photo by Anne Heritage)
