"It's not just a bunch of people getting together 40 years later," said John Levin, who applied to the FCC for a FM license for a community radio station in 1971 while a student at Clark University. "It's honoring what this station has meant for us and what it's done for the community."

That was 10 years ago. Starting at 11 AM today (120823) we will rebroadcast our conversation with John Levin from last Monday as he helped us ring in WCUW's 50th Anniversary as community radio serving Central MA. Right after, we will re-air an interview between John and Bill Lichtenstein, director and producer of 'WBCN and the American Revolution.
