We are excited to be begin plans for our 2026 recitals for preschool through adult classes. Shows will be held May 26th - Saturday May 30th at East Ridge High School in Woodbury.

Please click HERE to view the recital schedule for specific dates/times for each class. More information about dress rehearsals the week of May 18th - 21st will be available soon.

Further Recital information/Photo Schedule/Dress Rehearsal will be passed out in class the week of March 16th .

RECITAL GIFTS

YDE (Youth Dance and Enrichment) is excited to once again offer single pink and red roses, balloons, and recital‑day gifts at this year’s WDC Recitals. Candy Bouquets were a huge hit last year, and we’re excited to bring them back.

The PRESALE order form will go live in early April. Pre‑ordering is the only way to guarantee the perfect gift for your dancer’s big day. Please note: The WDC Tots Showcase will be presales only this year.

RECITAL COSTUMES

Costumes will be distributed in class the week of March 16th. If your dancer misses their class that week, please pick up at the front desk. Please note, costumes will not be available for pick up prior to your dancer's class the week of March 16th.

**REMINDER- If you have a balance due on your account, your child’s costume will not be handed out in class. Costumes may be picked up at the front desk once your account is up to date. If you are unable to pay off the entire balance due, please contact us to make payment arrangements. Payments can be made at the front desk, online, over the phone, etc. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know. Thank you!

Hip Hop shoes: 

Dancers in recreational classes with Hip Hop and boys only classes with Hip Hop will be required to purchase Black High Top Converse shoes for recitals. The rims of the sole should be white. Other brands may also work as long as they look the same as the Converse brand and do not include any additional colored detailing. These shoes will not be available through WDC.

Dancers will need to purchase them through local retail stores. They are often sold at Famous Footwear, DSW, Kohl’s and JC Penney as well as many online retailers. 

**Shoes will need to be purchased prior to picture week (April 13th-18th) , as dancers will need to wear shoes in pictures. Shoes should only be worn for pictures, dress rehearsals and recitals.
