Holiday break: No recreational classes Monday, Dec 22nd thru Saturday, Jan 3rd. Classes resume Monday, January 5th

Spring Break: No classes Monday, March 9th - Saturday, Mar 14th

Picture Week: Monday, April 13th - Saturday, April 18th

Final Class Days: Monday, May 11th thru Saturday, May 16th

Dress Rehearsals: Monday, May 18th through Thursday, May 21st (Preschool-Adult)

Recitals: Tuesday, May 26th through Saturday, May 30th (Preschool-Adult)

HOLIDAY CLASS VIEWING

Dancers in the following age level/classes will be having a short Holiday Viewing for their family during a class in December:

• Pre 1 & 2
• Kgn/1st grade
• Hip Hop ages 4-5
• Ballet Only - Kgn/1st grade

We look forward to showing you a sample of what we have been working on so far this fall, as well as sharing a Holiday Routine or two!

While it is not required, it is fun for dancers to dress festively. Check out the options in the WDC Boutique, wear holiday colors or add a little sparkle to your dance attire for the show!

Tights and Costume Information

In December, students will be sized for costumes in class and orders will be placed. Costumes will be distributed in class in the Spring. As stated in our policies, costume payments are non-refundable after December 1st.

Female Dancers- Tight sizing forms are due by Saturday, December 13th. 

Forms will be passed out in class, or may be filled out online HERE.  

The cost of tights is included in your costume payments.

Tights forms will be needed for female dancers in the following classes:

• Pre thru 12th grade combo classes
• All Ballet/Lyrical classes
• 4-5yrs and 1st-3rd grade Hip Hop Only

Classes canceled due to extreme weather will be communicated to our dance families as follows:

• Email
• WDC website
• Facebook & Instagram posts
• Studio voicemail system
• Text Notification**

For morning class cancellations, we generally follow South Washington School closures. Afternoon/evening class cancellations are made in the afternoon based on travel conditions and weather forecasts. If you do not feel safe driving to the studio, you are always welcome to have your dancer attend a make-up class.

Each class has two snow days built into our yearly schedule. If class has to be canceled more than twice on any given day, a make up date will be scheduled.
