WDIY showcases two Lehigh Valley rose gardens with Marcie Lightwood sharing the story of the 90 year-old Bethlehem Rose Garden and Karen El-Chaar featuring the Malcolm Gross Rose Garden in Allentown. Stop and smell the roses!

Free Guy stars Ryan Reynolds as Blue Shirt Guy, a character in Free City, a fictional video game. As Guy develops his own game plan, the video game company CEO (Taika Waititi) targets Guy, whose plan may prevent the release of Free City 2. Shawn Levy directs Ryan Reynolds, Taika Waititi and Jodie Comer as Molotov Girl. Paul Willistein of the Lehigh Valley Press reviews the action comedy science fiction film.

The Special Focus for August is Finite Element, a.k.a. Rich Kennicutt who is a keyboard-based electronic musician from upstate NY. Rich’s music combines ambient, industrial, classical, minimalist, and rock elements with a heavy dose of Berlin School synth sequences and textures.
On the next Galactic Travels™, the month-long focus on Finite Element concludes. The Featured CD at Midnight will be Binary Approach / EVAC.
