Hi folks:
Along with this newsletter, I am sending you a 6-page Directory that lists the email addresses of the 23 Rural Municipalities, 59 Organized Hamlets (plus 3 other groups), and 42 Resort Villages. Many of these contacts are PARCS members. PARCS uses these email addresses in two different ways:
1) To send email messages in Outlook -
I hope that the attached Directory will provide you with a quick reference to use when you are seeking to contact other RMs, other OHs, or other RVs. I am especially hoping that an easily accessible reference will encourage you to pass information along to other members of your council/board and also to reach out to others cottage communities about shared issues and initiatives. We encourage you to print this Directory and save it for reference.
2) To send email newsletters via Constant Contact -
Our newsletters are sent via email addresses, every 2 weeks or so; they aim to keep you up-to-date on current issues (example: PARCS UPDATE #176 that went out on March 29th, describing the 4 new resort villages emerging in the province). After they have gone out, most PARCS UPDATES are filed on our website (in the NEWSLETTER SECTION at the top of the front page of the website). So newsletter are always available to you for reference, even long after they have gone out.

The main reason that I have updated our contact lists is because we will soon be bringing you news about our fall convention, scheduled to be held in the Hilton Garden Inn in Saskatoon on Friday, Oct. 14th and Saturday, Oct.15th. Our program information and our registration instructions will go out via email newsletters.
Lynne

Post Script Addendum to ORGANIZED HAMLETS:
Earlier this year I made an appeal to our 59 Organized Hamlets, asking each OH community to arrange for a special email address that included the name of their hamlet. I thank the 10 organized hamlets who have, to date, set up an identifiable email addresses (shown in yellow in the attached Directory).
Hopefully more OHs will set up these easily identified addresses. Meanwhile PARCS will continue to invite organized hamlets to become PARCS members. (Of the remaining 49 Organized Hamlets, 9 have declined to provide any email address to PARCS.)
