WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS! Virginia Wesleyan Women's Soccer Wins 2021 ODAC Championship Title
The Virginia Wesleyan University women's soccer team (13-5-2) defeated the Hornets from the University of Lynchburg (15-5) 1-0 to win the 2021 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship Title. The Marlins captured their second Conference Title in program history, the first one won in 2006, with the 1-0 win over Lynchburg. Sophomore Olivia Bryant scored the game winning goal off a pass from junior Abby Peterson in the 73rd minute to clinch the victory.

Gunther named ODAC Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week
The Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) office announced the Athletes of the Week for events completed during the week of Oct. 25 31, on Monday afternoon, Nov. 1. Virginia Wesleyan's women's soccer midfielder, Adrianna Gunther, was selected as the ODAC Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week after helping the Marlins go 1-0-1 on the week to secure the ODAC Regular Season Champion title and the No. 1 seed throughout the ODAC Women's Soccer Championship Tournament. 
Volleyball
Women's Volleyball falls to Washington & Lee in ODAC Championship Match
The Virginia Wesleyan University women's volleyball team fell in the 2021 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship match to the Generals of Washington and Lee University in three sets finishing the season as ODAC Tournament runners up. 
Men's Soccer
No. 6 Marlins fall in ODAC semifinals to No. 2 Hornets of Lynchburg 3-0
The No. 6 seeded Virginia Wesleyan men's soccer team fell to the No. 2 seeded Hornets of the University of Lynchburg 3-0 in the ODAC Men's Soccer Conference Tournament semifinal match in Lynchburg, VA.

Marlins fall to No. 15 Eagles of Wisconsin LaCrosse in the TowneBank Tipoff Tournament
The Virginia Wesleyan University men's basketball team fell to the No. 15 Eagles on Saturday afternoon to conclude the TowneBank Tipoff Tournament at TowneBank Arena in Virginia Beach, VA.
