THEY CONTINUE TO DO THEIR PART.

NOW IT'S YOUR CHANCE TO HELP THEM!

PLNU student-athletes continue to win in the classroom, in the community and in competition. To help them continue that amazing success, we strive to create the best environment and experience possible for them, but we cannot do it without your help.

In the classroom PLNU student-athletes have claimed the NCAA Presidents’ Award for

Academic Excellence every year since becoming eligible in 2014, had over 1,500 Conference All-Academic performers in the classroom, and boast a higher student-athlete GPA than that of the general student body!

They have also found time to put in countless volunteer hours with organizations such as San Diego Rescue Mission, Bread of Life Ministries, Susan G. Komen Foundation, Make-A-Wish, Wounded Warrior Project, Operation Christmas Child, and many many others, along with winning the PacWest Conference Community Engagement Award for their involvement in the community.

PLNU student-athletes have also excelled on the fields, courts and courses since joining the NCAA with an incredible 40 All-Americans, 17 PacWest Conference championships, 3 appearances in NCAA National Championship games, 5 National Players of the Year.

Point Loma student-athletes are doing their part. But they cannot do it without your support. Now it's your chance to step up and help them!

"Competing for the track team opened the doors to PLNU. Yet, beyond the victories and records, it's the friendships found within the team and the supportive culture that have made an impact on my life. Within this tight-knit community, my faith has deepened, and I've seen personal growth and found a sense of purpose that will extend far beyond my time as a Sea Lion."

--- Anessa Chirgwin, Track & Field, Class of 2024

"I am extremely blessed for the opportunity to be a part of the student-athlete community at PLNU. The culture that PLNU athletics has created enriched my collegiate experience, instilling values that extend far beyond sports and academics, ultimately shaping me into a more spiritual and developed individual. The relationships I have built at PLNU will last a lifetime and I am grateful to have attended PLNU these past four years."

-- Dylan Miller, Baseball, Undergrad & Grad, Class of 2024

"Being a student-athlete at Point Loma has impacted my life in ways words cannot fully express. I am grateful to be a part of a community that cares about you much more deeply as a person, than as a player. The relationships I have built during my time here have shaped my character for the better. Without the opportunity to play here, I would not have become the person I am today."

-- Anna Massari, Volleyball, Undergrad, Class of 2024

“Words cannot fully describe the depth of connection that makes up Point Loma, and the gratitude I have for this special place. Being a part of a community like this, I have grown not only as an athlete, but as a student, as a friend, as a Christian, and as a person. This community has given me more than I ever expected or could have asked for. I am so thankful for the people I have met and for the opportunities I have been given through Loma!”

-- Bethany Arabe, Women's Soccer, Undergrad, Class of 2024

"I could not have asked for a better home for the past 5 years. PLNU Athletics has provided me with a tight knit group of some amazing people that I have been so thankful to meet. The environment here at PLNU has been the perfect place where I felt I could grow as a student, athlete, and person."

-- Scott Anderson, Baseball, Undergrad & Grad, Class of 2024
