Feed The Need is so thankful for the partnership State Farm has provided to host the Putnam Teens Fighting Hunger Event along with Azalea City Kiwanis Club of Palatka. This annual event will be held on September 15, 2022. We will pack bulk food into over 40,000 individual meals. 20 teen youth organizations throughout Putnam County. These bags of oatmeal and mac-n-cheese will go to our PCSD school pantries for weekend and after school food. State Farm Corporation, Azalea City Kiwanis & Kiwanis Children's Fund has sponsored this Feed The Need Event for the past 3 years. A total of $10,000.00 is donated each year to fund this event and help food insecure students locally. We appreciate your dedication to Feed the Need's mission; to end hunger for food insecure Putnam County Students allowing tomorrow's future leaders to focus on learning rather than hunger.
