On Tuesday, June 6, the City Club of Portland and the Portland Business Alliance, co-hosted the Metro Council President Lynn Peterson’s 2023 annual State of the Region address.
She highlighted the organization’s accomplishments and challenges for housing, fulfilling the obligations of the affordable housing bond, commitments to park systems and habitat restoration, and modernizing garbage/recycle systems. She also shared a renewed vision for the region with big projects such as the Interstate Bridge Replacement, the Expo Futures and the Ballmer Institute for Children's Behavorial Health.
