2025 Fall Dinner

We will honor our scholars at the Annual Fall Dinner on October 12, 2025, hosted at the NU Norris Center. We’re excited to welcome back our returning scholars, board members, and to meet our newest first-year scholars. The evening will feature a delicious meal catered by Tiffany Scroggins Catering Company—always a crowd favorite.

We warmly invite our alumnae to attend and reconnect. If you're available, please reach out—we’d love to see you there!

Welcome

Rosemarie Ruiz

We’re thrilled to welcome Rosemarie Ruiz as WEAA’s new administrative assistant! Rosemarie joined our team in August and brings a deep commitment to supporting both our board and scholars. A proud Chicago native, she resides on the southwest side of the city with her family, close to their extended relatives. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with loved ones and traveling.

For questions or comments, feel free to reach out to the board members by emailing her at weaa1871@gmail.com.

Board Membership

WEAA is managed by a board of women who are invested in supporting NU scholars in reaching their educational dreams, many of whom are first generation college students. We are looking for new members who live in the Chicago land area and are commented to serve.

Please contact us by email for more information regarding board membership.
