WEATHER UPDATE: SEAN’S SATURDAY 9/26/26 CELEBRATION POSTPONED

Dear Friends,

With the Nor’easter headed our way, we have made the decision to postpone tomorrow evening’s celebration of Sean Glennon and his remarkable tenure at St. Andrew’s. Sean deserves a wonderful celebration—with all of us there! Our Rain Date will be FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2, 6-8pm.

Sunday, if conditions allow (we have power and roads are clear) we will gather for worship as usual, in person and online, Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m.

Most importantly, please be safe and take good care of yourselves and one another. If you need anything to be safe as you prepare for this storm, please reach out to Rev. Amy directly (781) 422-4112. A healthy church community is an unparalleled safe harbor in a storm.

A Prayer in the Storm

God of wind, rain and waves, shelter all who are in the path of this storm. Keep safe those who must travel and those who work to protect and restore our communities. Connect us to all who are vulnerable, alone, or without power or shelter. Calm our fears, strengthen our care for one another, and bring us safely through this storm so that we may gather, once again, as your beloved community in Hanover. Amen+

Almighty and everliving God, ruler of all things in heaven and earth, hear our prayers for this parish family. Strengthen the faithful, arouse the careless, and restore the penitent. Grant us all things necessary for our common life, and bring us all to be of one heart and mind within your holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
