Eyes Upon the Cross

On Palm Sunday evening, come experience a fresh and powerful portrayal of the crucifixion story, exploring the raw emotions and conflicting perspectives of those who experienced the life and death of Christ. This drama is directed by Andrea Verdis.

Our Maundy Thursday Communion Offering

Our communion offering on Maundy Thursday will support one of our partner ministries - Inner City Night Shelter. ICNS is an emergency shelter for chronically homeless adult men and women, providing counseling, shelter, and supportive services. They have plans to begin a capital campaign soon to expand their capacity, as the number of people living in homelessness in Savannah is increasing rapidly. Please keep them in your prayers.

Join the Fun on Pretzel Saturday!

Your help is needed for THIS Saturday, April 12th. We need people willing to make dough for the pretzels. If you are willing, please bring the dough to the church by noon on April 11th.

Beth Parr will email you a recipe, or you can pick one up outside of her office. We also need people willing to help children make pretzels and others willing to hide eggs. If you can help make the day wonderful for our children, please contact Beth Parr at 912-663-7466 or bparr@iohumc.com. We can also use donations of money to help purchase goodies to go in the eggs. Plan to come out and join the fun!

Missions

Donate to P.A.C.K.

Each week, P.A.C.K., a 100-percent volunteer-run organization, packs and delivers 5,400 weekend meal bags to food-insecure children through 42 Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools. They also provide personal supplies to over 1,000 children in foster care. For this effort, Legacy Circle is helping provide 200 children's toothbrushes and small tubes of toothpaste. A box will be available in the hallway for collections through April. Please donate!

Day On The Island - November 7th, 2025

Day On The Island returns to IOHUMC on November 7th, 2025. This day of open house and fellowship oﬀered by the women of our church originated in 1965 with an afternoon tea. It later became a luncheon with a boat tour. Still later, a bazaar and tour of homes were added to the luncheon. This year, we are focusing on Isle of Hope's history as we plan to open our doors for Day On The Island 2025.

Wednesday Night Prayer Meeting

“People ask, which is more important - private prayer or corporate prayer? This is like asking which is more important for walking - your right leg or your left leg?” - Daniel Henderson

Tonight, our Prayer Meeting will be held in the Prayer Room at 5:30 pm. Our prayer focus will be on asking God for wisdom and guidance for our Finance Committee, that they may make sound decisions and solidify the financial position of our Church in a way that is pleasing to God. Additionally, we will lift up the prayer requests from Sunday’s worship services. Please consider joining us.
