The Williston Downtowners Association will host a brainstorming session on Friday, May 29 at 8:30 a.m. in the seating space between North Grand Theater and Renaissance Station (across from the Downtown Plaza). Delta seeks to Suspend Airline Service to Williston
Williston Herald - Delta Airlines has announced intentions to suspend air travel to Williston, but city and airport officials hope to appeal the decision with support from the state. Airport Director Anthony Dudas spoke to the Williston Herald about the upcoming decision. Read More
1 Million Cups Meeting June 3 at Williston ARC
Williston Economic Development - the June 3 1 Million Cups meeting will be held on Wednesday, June 3 at the Williston Area Recreation Center. The meeting will run from 8:30-9:30 a.m. The featured speakers will be Sara Harmon from Wild Calf Coffee and Shawn Wenko from Williston Economic Development. The coffee will be provided by Wild Calf. Renaissance on Main Businesses reopen
News Release - Renaissance On Main brings some very good news to downtown Williston. The newest addition to street-level retail is Hops & Berry Taproom, and it’s now back up and running and open to the public, under the state’s Smart Re-start guidelines. Read More
Lawmakers tour Long X Bridge Project
Williston Hera ld - Fifteen concrete arches have been put in their places at the Long X bridge, part of a wildlife underpass that will help protect sheep and other wildlife in the area that might otherwise be compelled during their migration season to brave a highway frequented by overweight trucks. Bill Panos, Director of the North Dakota Department of Transportation, told a group of lawmakers touring the site on Wednesday that the wildlife tunnel will cost about $3 million. The point of this expense is not solely to take care of wildlife, however. It is also safety for human beings. Read More
CHI St. Alexius Health requires Patrons to wear Masks
News Release - – CHI St. Alexius Health Williston hospital and clinics would like to remind individuals over the age of two entering their facilities to wear their own mask or face covering. This change was made on May 13, 2020. Guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) encourages the public to wear face coverings in places like clinics and hospitals, where it’s not always practical to maintain six feet of separation between individuals.
