The podcasts feature entrepreneurs from the oilfield, healthcare and child care industries as well as the Williston Chamber and Williston Fire Department. WED releases Season 5 of Williston Works Podcast; Episode 1 features Williston Fire Chief

News Release - Williston Economic Development has released Season 5 of its Williston Works Podcast. The first episode features host Shawn Wenko talking with Williston Fire Chief Matt Clark, about the Williams County Public Safety Sales Tax. A measure to renew the tax will be on the November 8, 2022, General Election ballot. If renewed, the tax will be extended to March 31, 2035. Stay tuned for more Williston Works Podcasts! Plans unveiled for Williston Energy Center

Williston Herald - A plan to develop a long-term facility, the Williston Energy Center, for youth in the City of Williston was presented at the old Sloulin Field airport hangar last week by Power Play Project, Inc., the group who has been working on this plan. The group sees this as being a draw for people in the Dakotas, Montana, and Canada. “This will help make Williston a go-to spot and destination,” Williston Mayor Howard Klug said to those in attendance. Williston Herald - Milestone Health Partners celebrated the Grand Opening of their new facility on Sept. 30 and they are excited to offer assistance to help individuals meet their life milestones. Native Willistonites, Dr. Amanda Erickson, PT, DPT Physical Therapy and Dr. Alyssa Suess, Ph.D., BCBA-D, Behavioral Health and Dr. Lindy Kirby, PT, DPT, will be offering physical therapy services, occupational therapies, and behavioral health services at their new facility located at 1905 14 Street West. News Release - The Williston Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a roundtable with North Dakota U.S. Representative Kelly Armstrong on Wednesday, October 12th. He discussed economic concerns and issues with representatives from area businesses encompassing multiple industries including health care, childcare, education, energy, agriculture, hospitality, and small business. Crusoe Energy acquires
Great American Mining's Assets

Bitcoin.com - On October 12, 2022, the digital flare mitigation (DFM) company Crusoe Energy announced that it has acquired the assets of Great American Mining (GAM). Through the deal, not only does Crusoe get 10 MW of capacity and 4,000 ASIC mining devices, it also will benefit from “commercial relationships with several large-scale energy producers in the Bakken region of North Dakota and Montana.” Furthermore, it also has acquired a new facility in Ponchatoula, LA which will be used for Crusoe’s new research and development (R&D) center. to present Clue October 14-18

Williston Herald - Clue: On Stage by Sandy Rustin, based on the 1985 movie is coming to the Entertainment Inc! stage Oct. 13-18. The show is being dedicated to the late Jack Dyville, a long-time Inc! supporter and friend. Directed by J.C. LaBar, the show is set in 1954 and references all the well-known board game characters people have come to know and love. "It’s more or less just fun as you watch the characters as the storyline devolves and you see them all lose their minds,” LaBar said. Read More
Flannel Fest October 22 at Lewis & Clark State Park

News Release - Lewis & Clark State Park has partnered with the Williston Convention & Visitors Bureau to bring a new fall festival to the area. Flannel Fest will be held on October 22, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The public is encouraged to explore outdoor recreational opportunities available year-round. There will be family-friendly activities including a 3-hole frisbee golf course, escape room puzzles, live music from “October Road,” mini golf and more. Read More
