Jeff Swartz - Seaman Corporation

Seaman Corporation is deeply rooted in Wayne County, dating back to 1987 when they established new corporate headquarters and manufacturing in the Wooster community. Over the years, Seaman has grown to a multi-million-dollar industry leader in high-performance industrial coated fabrics. The growth and success of Seaman Corporation are attributed to the family philosophy that the multi-generational family of John Ray, Norm and Richard N. Seaman set forth. While the family legacy still lives on, someone new has taken over the reins as CEO. Just over a year ago, Jeff Swartz was welcomed as Seaman Corporation’s new CEO. His vision is clear, and his plans are ‘expansion’.

Did You Know, Wayne County is Named After General Anthony Wayne?

Better known as "Mad Anthony", General Wayne served as the 5th Senior Officer for the United States. The general received his nickname as a result of his brave leadership and fiery personality. General Wayne is featured in a 19th-century fresco painting titled "The Storming of Stony Point" which can be seen on display in the United States Capitol Building.

Wooster's Oldest Operating Business is Expanding!

Please help us in congratulating the Wooster Brush Company on the announcement of their multi-million dollar expansion.

Their new expansion will feature a 400,000-600,000 sq. ft. distribution and manufacturing facility slated for Wooster's Innovation Industrial Park.

2021 Annual Meeting Recap

Our Annual Meeting on April 13th was a huge success!

With the help of our sponsors and featured guests WEDC was able to raise $2,500.
