KINGDOM LIVING
Whose kingdom are you living in? If you are in the world’s kingdom, you must live as the world lives, but if you are living in the Kingdom of God, His rules are not the same.
The world’s kingdom says get all you can, but the Kingdom of God says give.
The world’s kingdom is motivated by self; but the Kingdom of God is motivated by the Spirit of God.
One kingdom lifts up self, and the other kingdom lifts up God. Matthew 7:13-14 tells us about these two choices: “13 Enter ye in at the strait [narrow] gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait [narrow] is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
What do you think of the most? It determines which kingdom you are serving. If you are not thinking on the things of God which are: truth, honesty, loveliness, virtue, praise, purity, a good report, then you are living in the world’s kingdom which brings destruction.
Yes, as Christians, we live in the world, but we are not of this world. We are seated now with Christ in heavenly places. [Ephesians 2:6]. Our lives belong to him. We must make the choice to go God’s way and not the way of the world. We learn God’s way by studying his word.
We must be kingdom minded and choose the narrow way. We must exalt our King, and lift HIM up, not ourselves. If all you think about is yourself, then you must transform your mind to be kingdom minded. In the Kingdom of God there is no lack, no sickness, no disharmony. Bring yourself into that kingdom now, and your life will change!
