INSPIRATIONAL NEWSLETTER

WEDNESDAY

AUGUST 26, 2026

We pray that this newsletter and its contents that we share will help you on your daily journey with Christ, causing you to grow in the ways of the Lord.

The giftings of the fivefold ministry (Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher) should have one purpose, and that is the teaching and equipping of the saints until we come into unity.

This is why we teach so that you can grow stronger in your faith until unity comes in the body of Christ. Take what you have learned and share it with others so that we can further the kingdom for Jesus Christ.

BE A WITNESS

When we had a physical church building, we had movie night on Friday evenings. We had attended a private showing of one of the Kendrick Brothers movies, Courageous. We were given the opportunity to be the first to privately show it locally in our church before it hit the theaters. We made it known to the local churches that we were premiering that movie at our church and there was quite a turnout. The movie was outstanding.

At the end of the movie, as I always did on our movie nights, I gave an altar call. A few people raised their hands, and one older gentleman came forward for prayer and received Jesus as his Savior. I never saw him again. I knew nothing about him but knew there was a new name written down in glory!

About a year later, a lovely older lady who I did not know came into our church thrift shop and sought me out. I have always been a working pastor, so I was there when she stopped by. She came up to me and thanked me for saving her husband. I had no idea who she was and told her that. She then told me her husband had died the week before, but she and her husband had come to our showing of Courageous on movie night. He was the one that came forward to receive Jesus. She was so thankful that we gave that altar call and he came to know the Lord before it was too late.

I have to admit I cried when she told me. You see my friend, we never know what happens when we share the gospel with someone that is lost. One may plant the seed, another may water the seed, but God brings in the harvest. Without someone planting that seed there will be no harvest of souls.

Proverbs 11:30 says, “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise.”

Don’t stop sharing your testimony and the gospel with others. As in the case of the man that got saved, it is a matter of eternity. I am so grateful to God for the privilege of leading him to the Lord. But it isn’t just a pastor that should be doing this. It should be a lifestyle of every Christian to be a witness for Jesus, both young and old.

Time is shorter now before his return than it has been. Be a witness. Lost souls are waiting to hear the gospel.

PROPHETIC WORD

8-25-2026

Don't get so busy with life that you don't take time for God. He isn't just another person. He is the bridegroom that will be soon coming for you, his bride. Get to know him through the Word, and through prayer and worship. He is an awesome friend and our soon coming bridegroom.

Wednesday Thought For Today

Good morning! Was flipping through an older journal and saw a devotional I had written.

You will not be defeated because you stumbled and fell. You will be defeated when you don’t get back up and continue your fight against your enemy the devil. He looks for ways to trip you up and uses it against you. So remember you have the power of the written word in your heart and you have the victory! Hallelujah

God has called you and equipped you with every tool you need to stand and fight. So keep reading the Word because it is your sword against your enemy. Keep on the helmet of salvation because it protects your mind from the darts of the enemy and the breastplate of righteousness guards your heart from satans attacks to steal you away from the Lord. The belt of truth in biblical days held the sword. So not only do you have the truth of God’s word but you have your sword in place to use at a moments notice. Remind yourself of the scriptures that tell you that God will not forsake you and He will be with you.

“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil. For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.”

‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭6‬:‭10‬-‭12‬ ‭NLT‬‬

PROPHETIC EXHORTATION

_____________

Many times in life we have to put behind us all the disappointments of not getting what we thought we wanted; And learn to accept who we are, what we have and where we are...It's called PEACE! No, I'm not talking about never wanting to go further in life and attain more than you already have. However, I am simply saying learn to be content where you are on the way to where you're going! Just be sure to learn from the bad experiences you’ve had; For they will help you when you do get to the next season of your life.Yes, just be content...Because this where you are walking now is only a test! Just ask Apostle Paul for he wrote these wise words in Philippians 4: 11b! "I have learned to be content in whatever circumstance I am in". Now I pray God bless each of you and be sure to have; Many Happy Travels Along the Way…Every Day in Every Way!!

Let God find you faithful and don't be wasting the time He has given you. We are to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.

Think About It!! HCC

Do you have a conscience?

Do you know what’s right from wrong?

Are you for truth and justice,

Or do you take the road, of dark and wrong?

Is money so important, do you get it anyway you can?

You have no thoughts for others.

It’s me, it’s me, yes, that’s your plan.

There are two roads you can take.

They lead to Heaven or to Hell.

Choose love, the Lord Christ Jesus,

Or the dark gloom of Satan’s Hell.

It’s all about the Bible. Life is written there.

Yes, you have a creator, the Lord your God,

He’s everywhere! Think about it.
