WHO ARE YOU LISTENING TO?

What goes into the ear gate affects how we think. If we listen to Satan’s lies and meditate on those words, we can become angry, depressed, and defeated. He will never bring truth to you. He will bring up your past to destroy you. He will tempt you to sin to destroy you. He will twist scripture to keep you from hearing the truth from God.

If you listen to the Lord through the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, your spirit is fed with healthy words. The Word of God brings light to you. The light you take in will free you from depression, your past, and gives you hope.

You must decide what you want to listen to. Another source of hearing is music. If you listen to worship and praise, then your spirit is fed. Satan hates praise so the more you listen to it, the more he stays away from you.

If you listen to music that demoralizes people and speaks of sin and death, eventually you will act out what you hear.

The easiest way to determine what to listen to is to ask yourself this: does what I hear line up with scripture? Does what I listen to glorify God? If you honestly cannot say yes, then stop listening. You will be glad you did.

You are never too old to fulfill your destiny. Abraham was told he would have the son of promise and he was 100 years old before it happened. David was anointed three times before he was made king over all of Israel. Moses was 80 before God used him to bring the Hebrews out of Egypt. With God, timing determins the fulfillment of His promises. Keep believing!

Remember He's not hurting you He is actually helping you...Just trust Him...He's got this...And He’s got YOU!
