DON’T LIVE IN THE DARK WHEN YOU ARE LIGHT
Have you ever been outside at night and it was so cloudy and overcast that it was pitch black? You couldn’t see your hand in front of your face. Or perhaps you were in a room where there was no light, and darkness enveloped you. Unless you knew your way around, you would perhaps stumble over something that you could not see, and maybe even fall. It may have been a frightening experience.
Yet, in life, there is darkness all around. The world and its darkness are everywhere. We see crimes and things happening that one never thought would occur in our country. This darkness can be frightening to those that do not trust in the Word of God.
We, as Christian believers are salt and light. We bring our light into the darkness, and the darkness has to flee. The only thing that keeps this from happening is fear. There is so much fear in the world and also in the body of Christ.
There are so many “what ifs,” and so many walking in darkness instead of God’s light. Ps. 119:105 says that the WORD of God is a lamp—(light) unto our feet and a light unto our paths.
We need never fear when we go to the WORD of God, and let it enlighten our paths. Have you taken the time to see what God has to say through his written WORD about your life and situations? If you do, fear will flee.
All of the promises of God are there for you! They are yes, and amen. It is forever settled what God will do, but it is up to us to trust and believe God does not lie. Do not let the darkness overtake you. Be the light God has called you to be.
Charge your lamp by going to the WORD of God. It will keep you in the light when darkness tries to overtake you!
