SURVIVE - REVIVE - THRIVE:
PLANS FOR RE-OPENING AND RESILIENCE
Your Chamber of Commerce is tracking developments and information to assist our business community and members. You can look at business responses to the COVID-19 pandemic in three phases: survive this initial shutdown, revive and open your business, and plan to thrive in new market circumstances. Survive - Revive - Thrive.

We would like to provide you with information to help you revive and thrive. Not every business or location should be treated the same, and ultimately each place of business will need site-specific plans. Thinking through elements of your response will get you open again and can help you adjust your business plans to succeed in uncertain times.

Here are some of the areas you may consider as you plan to re-open and plan for the months ahead:

Required plans for re-opening and business sector guidance;

Sanitize, disinfect, and needed supplies;

Employee health, screening, and training;

Thinking about your customers, communications, social distancing, occupancy, and other requirements;

Resources for understanding public health concerns and consumers.

We understand that there is a lot of information daily to sort through. Please check our website regularly for updates and resources. If you have questions on a specific topic or business need, please reach out to Chamber staff for suggestions and resources.

How to think through the lens of both business and public health will allow for you to plan for the future of your organization:

When business leaders across the globe went into planning for their current fiscal year, it is unlikely they predicted what was ahead of them. Suddenly, they had to pivot, become versed in the principles of public health without formal training, and lead their organizations in achieving economic continuity, employee/customer safety and new business models. This would be no small feat under the best circumstances.If you are one of these business leaders, as you have come out of the immediate emergency response, you are likely now faced with strategically navigating the path forward.

Date & Time: Tuesday June 2 ~ 12:00-1:00pm
